lambda_2An  exhibition at Casal Lambda shows the work of two artists, Paolo Portuari and Quelic Berga. The two proposals distills the interest on the representing of sexual identity on the network, especially among the gay community.

It can be seen from 15 May to 15 June.

Paolo Portuari shows some ilustrated reflections about sex and love, the love for sex and the sex for love. An attempt to transform the ‘butchery’s’ aesthetics often used in the virtual gay environment in a more romantic one.

You would see for the first time in Barcelona a selection of pieces of Identity.  The works open a reflection on identity within the gay community. Through decontextualized profile pictures, edited by the users themselves on gay chats, identity issues are evident,  how sexuality is experiencied aand how one’s image is perceived.
